Room needed some attention. the color scheme felt a bit overdone. The bathroom had a cracked wash hand basin, and sound insulation could use improvement, as noise from adjoining rooms was palpable. Parking access involved navigating many steps, which could be a hassle for some guests.

What a fantastic stay! The highlight for me was the excellent restaurant, where I had the best steak I've tasted since moving to France. The comfort of enjoying a meal on the terrace with a lovely bottle of wine made for a memorable evening. Although it’s not very walkable to town, the drive to visit the incredible Chateau Royal d'Amboise was a breeze with ample free parking available. I would highly recommend this spot if you're looking to explore nearby attractions and enjoy delicious dining options.

During my delightful two-night stay in a Double Room with Terrace, the charming atmosphere and the impeccable cleanliness struck me immediately. The terrace was a perfect spot to unwind with a glass of wine in the evening sun, making every moment special! Dining at the hotel was truly memorable, as the chef masterfully prepared the best steak I've had since moving to France.

The location was ideal for exploring Amboise and nearby chateaux, and the air conditioning in the room was perfect for the hot weather. One improvement would be earlier check-in hours, as waiting outside after a long drive wasn't ideal.
